Rochester Community and Technical College is proud to announce that the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) has awarded its Surgical Technology associate degree program continuing accreditation until 2033.
The Surgical Technology program has been accredited by CAAHEP since 1977. The Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA) conducts comprehensive and annual reviews of the program’s compliance with the Standards and submits recommendations regarding accreditation status to CAAHEP. ARC/STSA monitors the program’s outcomes through the program’s annual report and supporting documentation (Standard IV.B.).
